As a Senior Partner Development Manager at Vanta, you will source and manage strategic partnerships with top accelerators, incubators, VCs and PEs (otherwise known as Startup Partners) in the EMEA region.

The Partner Team at Vanta is responsible for building a network of partners that help our customers become secure, compliant and complete the jobs they need to be done. Startup Partners are critical to this effort as they can assist Vanta in educating companies in compliance and security standards, but also serve as a new source of pipeline and revenue.

As our first Partner Manager for the startup team in EMEA, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end relationships with our core partners in your region. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Partnerships based in North America, you will work closely with the team in the US, assisting us in strengthening our core program, identifying high-value partners in EMEA, generating pipeline through strategic relationship management, and running all marketing related initiatives with our partners in the region. 

What you’ll do as a Sr. Partner Development Manager (EMEA) at Vanta:

  • Represent the Startup partner team and drive team-related goals in the EMEA region
  • Ensure Vanta is the clear choice for security monitoring solutions among the startup partner ecosystem in EMEA
  • Create, grow and manage strategic partnerships with top VC’s, PE’s, Incubators, Accelerators and Startup Programs in the region
  • Identify current pipeline opportunities, and utilize existing startup partnerships to help the field close deals in play
  • Publicly launch startup partnerships, working collaboratively with the Partner Marketing Team
  • Identify new market trends and opportunities from the Startup ecosystem in EMEA
  • Identify and engage in relevant event opportunities related to startup partners and programs in EMEA
  • Contribute to the sales pipeline and closed ARR via strategic Startup partnerships in EMEA

How to be successful in this role:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or partnerships in SaaS and/or within the security/compliance industry 
  • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Google Suite and Outreach 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • A results oriented, highly motivated, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Process-oriented, with the ability to simplify, automate, and communicate effectively
  • Strong sense of ownership over your everyday work and partners
  • Strong sense of curiosity with a bias towards action
  • An understanding of how investment firms operate and how to develop value
  • Prior experience in a high-velocity SMB business / fast-scaling startup
  • A strong interest in the Venture Capital and Startup world

We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election.
