Itâs a Sales Development Representative (SDR) role, with huge growth potential to advance quickly as our company grows.
Youâll be joining a group of curious, data-driven commercial professionals who are eager to test and experiment with new methods that drive Stotlesâ growth.
We have big plans for the rest of 2022 so we need somebody excited by untapped and unexplored opportunity, ready to hit the ground running, and ready to take our sales domain to the next level.
đˇ Comp Range: ÂŁ30-40k salary (depending on experience) + commission + equity
đ¨ What You'll Do
Weâre looking for a high-performing SDR to engage and build relationships with new business prospects and drive qualified opportunities for the Sales team. Youâll report directly to the CEO and be a key component of the early sales team as it grows.
Everyday, you will:
- Own your opportunity pipeline:Â Work closely with our Growth team to engage, understand, and develop new leads that sign up to Stotles. You will using methods that drive qualified opportunities for the Sales team, increase conversion rates, and minimise customer churn later in the customer life cycle.
- Input into the sales strategy:Â Work closely with our CEO, Account Executive, and other commercial domain leads (like our Growth Lead and Head of Customer Success) to continuously improve our sales playbook, business model, plans, and pricing.
- Turn sign ups into qualified prospects: Understand prospective customer problems & requirements, assess their fit with Stotles value proposition, lead product demos.
- Be the eyes and ears to the market: Your inputs at the front lines of the market are critical to improve our product and messaging.
This means you will need to:
- Apply and sharpen qualification frameworks.
- Build relationships that are focused on long-term value and a reputation of trust.
- Create & test new sales collateral using our product to connect evolving customersâ pains to our product offering.
â¨ď¸ Who We're Looking For
Experience
- 6-18 months experience as a high-performing individual contributor in a sales team.
- High-caliber B2B SaaS: Youâve worked in a world-class, high-growth B2B SaaS sales operation (you know what good looks like)
- Growth & development: Proven ability to grow and progress your experience (e.g. youâre hitting and exceeding your targets, and in looking toward that next step in your sales career journey)
- Complex products: Youâve worked with complex product features and value propositions, and have translated these into compelling recommendations that solve potential customersâ problems.
- Stakeholder rapport: Experience working with all kinds of stakeholders â from senior-level decision makers to entry level product users.
- Start-up life (+): Experience in a start-up is a plus.
- Public sector pain (+): Experience with the pains of selling to public sector is a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency with CRM and related sales stack systems, including HubSpot and Intercom (or similar platforms). You will have input into shaping and improving our Sales playbook
- An entrepreneurial approach, making you a thought partner who does not âsellâ anything, but develops trust and solutions together with the prospect to create true added value
- Excellent, adaptable interpersonal and communications skills to be able to build lasting rapport with both our clients (from senior-level decision makers to entry level product users) and our internal team.
- Qualify opportunities rigorously by asking key questions and using a framework that leads to high quality opportunities for the sales team.
- Ability to listen, and translate market and customer pains and feedback into (a) value-add recommendations and (b) on-going product development
- Highly proficient English (written and spoken) essential
