Technical Support Specialist

For years there have been others in the space promoting “the death of the spreadsheet," yet whether we like them or not, spreadsheets a necessity for the finance function. Instead of trying to replace the spreadsheet, which most companies have failed at, Cube built the first fully spreadsheet-native FP&A platform, now used by hundreds of leading growth companies to power their business performance. Think enterprise FP&A engine meets the world's most beloved UI.

About the role
Cube has grown a lot this year, and as our growth continues, we need more wonderful folks to join our Support Team. You’ll be joining a team of 3, so we’re still small, but actively growing with a lot of opportunity in front of us. You’ll have a great opportunity to make an impact at Cube by working directly with our customers and our internal teams. You’ll have input into processes and strategy that will help drive the best customer experience possible.
How you've been spending your time
- You have a great attitude towards working with customers in high-pressure situations. Your default is to be empathetic and understanding to their experience and perspective.
- Technical Support experience - Proven ability to problem solve and troubleshoot SaaS software in a Technical Support role
- Others would describe you as independent, self-motivated, and organized
- Experience/Interest in Finance or Accounting is a plus
How you'll spend your time at Cube
- Own communication, analysis, and documentation of customer support requests
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to escalate product issues, track progress, and communicate solutions to customers
- Collaborate with team members across the organization to foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement
- Contribute to and help maintain our customer knowledge base and Help Center
- Drive product improvement by working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to address common customer pain points
Your first 3 months at Cube
- Review and learn Support processes for day to day operations
- Learn all aspects of the Cube product through demos, implementation videos, and 1:1 training
- Become an expert in our ticketing system and Help Center
- Be fully comfortable collaborating with CS team members, Engineering team, & customers to resolve technical issues
