Hone is a remote-first and fully-distributed organization. We are currently based in the U.S. with an HQ in Encinitas, CA and a hub office in NYC. Our employees work from home (or anywhere), a co-working space (we provide a stipend), or one of our hub offices. Role Overview:

We’re out to build a premier community for the Learning & Development leader community. If you’re excited about connecting with leaders in the L&D space and generating awesome one-of-a-kind content in the process, then this role is for you. As the community and event manager, you will be responsible for creating value-added experiences for this community through virtual and in-person events. You will also support our growing presence at thought leadership events, conferences, and trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Host virtual events with industry and company thought leaders that provide value to our L&D community
  • Organize virtual and in-person events for our customer advisory board and customers
  • Be an advocate for our community and provide feedback to product teams
  • Manage quarterly roadshow events (happy hours and dinners) for enterprise prospects
  • Develop community and event metrics to help determine which activities we should invest more time and money into
  • Lead the development of Hone’s first ever in-person conference

Must Have

  • Previous experience building or scaling a community
  • Prior event planning experience
  • Gregarious - you must absolutely love building relationships with people and being a connector

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience within the HR leadership space
  • Prior digital marketing or product marketing experience
