Role Description

Northbeam is looking to hire a sales development rep to manage deal flow and go-to-market growth. The team is experiencing substantial (inbound) lead volume and needs to scale to meet the demand. This role will initially focus on handling inbound sales but could evolve to include outbound efforts as the role or business grows.

This person will be working cross-functionality and handling various responsibilities across the go-to-market organization. They will collaborate/assist with customer success, support, onboarding, and general account management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue/sales (direct and channel efforts)
  • Manage inbound leads & meetings
  • Provide initial customer presentations and platform demonstrations
  • Manage sales contracts
  • Manage customer relationships (secondary responsibility)
  • Assist with onboarding/setup process (secondary responsibility)


The ideal candidate is an optimistic self-starter with high energy, able to work remotely, organized, and has strong communication skills. They are an ambitious, fast learner, eager to take on new challenges and be a team player.

Need to have

  • At least 2+ years experience in sales
  • Strong work ethic
  • Experience with formal presentations (sales pitches, demos, QBRs, etc)
  • Soft skills - empathy, charisma, emotional intelligence, confidence
  • Technical aptitude

Nice to have

  • Experience in eCommerce
  • Experience with online marketing/ad buying (Facebook, Google, TikTok, paid social, etc)
  • Developer/formal technical experience
  • Sales qualification experience
  • Sales negotiation experience
  • Experience with contracts/legal language
