Sales Engineers are key to Lang's overall growth strategy. Sales Engineers support Lang Account Executives in shaping a vision for how Lang can structure CX data to accelerate CX productivity and provide better insights to CX, Operations, Product and Marketing users. 

Your day to day activities will include:

  • Working with prospects to help them understand the technical value proposition of the Lang platform
  • Partnering with Account Executives, across all stages of the sales cycle, to drive deals to closure 
  • Demoing the Lang platform to prospective customers
  • Designing technical solutions for integrating Lang into a prospects technology stack
  • Scoping and completing Proofs of Concept and pilots for strategic deals
  • ROI calculators
  • Using technology or no-code tools to “hack” solutions for prospects
  • Evangelizing Lang at user conferences and other public forums 
  • Occasional travel required


Your main goal will be to help Lang prospects understand the value of the Lang platform and how to use Lang to help address the prospect’s use case and get to value. To do this you must become an expert in the Lang platform and support complex SaaS sales cycles.


  • 1+ years experience as a Sales Engineer for a SaaS company supporting enterprise sales or experience at a consulting services firm building solutions for prospects/customers  
  • 1+ years experience in tech companies or a digital product
  • Knowledge and experience using service platforms (Zendesk, Salesforce, Service Cloud)
  • Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly learn client requirements and understand a new industry
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with clients and internal team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven by a desire for excellence in a fast-paced, high knowledge industry
  • Experience with managing API integrations or products like Zapier or Microsoft Power Automate
  • Experience using no-code software, automation tools (UIPath, Alteryx, Blue Prism), or data analytics tools (Excel, Looker, Tableau)
