📐 About the Role

We’re looking for our first partner manager to join Writer and help us build our partnerships channel. This highly strategic and cross-functional role will focus on developing new, high-impact sales and tech partnerships, and on developing the partnerships we currently have in place. You'll collaborate with sales and customer success to drive new logo and expansion revenue opportunities; with marketing to run effective co-marketing initiatives with our partners; and with product to drive our integration roadmaps. This role reports to our head of partnerships.

🦸🏻‍♀️ Your responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with both our partners and with partner-sourced customers
  • Manage complex relationships with a diverse set of partners, including resellers, consultancies, systems integrators, and tech partners
  • Identify and develop new key partnerships for Writer
  • Drive sales and GTM initiatives with our partners
  • You’ll accelerate the number and speed of sales deals; minimize deals lost due to missing integrations; drive user adoption and retention; and scale opportunities and trial starts.

⭐️ Is this you?

  • 5+ years experience as a B2B SaaS partner manager, account executive and/or strategic account manager, having owned a revenue target. Preferred 2+ years experience selling to enterprise-level accounts
  • Strong understanding of partnerships-led sales motion
  • Highly collaborative, with ability to lead cross-functional teams, both internally and externally
  • You’re a top performer, with a proven track record exceeding revenue targets
  • You’re data-driven, with a drive to test smartly, analyze often, and iterate/optimize for short and long-term success


  • Proactive communication skills, both sync and async
  • Set the highest possible bar for what you build, write, ship
  • A love for good writing
