As Catalyst’s VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating our entire marketing strategy and being the face of one of the most exciting brands in B2B SaaS. You will serve as an integral part of the Executive leadership team, as well as a visionary leader both to the Marketing team and to the greater company.


What You’ll Do

  • Grow, mentor and motivate a top-performing Marketing team across Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Event Marketing, Brand, and more through performance management, goal setting, career development, hiring, etc
  • Enhance our demand generation motion to further drive our inbound sales motion through list building, third-party partnerships, digital ads, SEO, in-person events, webinars, website strategy, and more
  • Create visionary positioning and messaging to tell a bold, differentiated story that emphasizes driving Customer Success to the forefront and center of every company
  • PR & Communications: Build strong relationships with media and stakeholders through effective PR strategies
  • Brand Building: Own our creative channels to build brand awareness for Catalyst as the #1 Customer Success Platform (eg. blog, podcasts, videos, community)
  • Continuously brainstorm, test, and execute optimization experiments to improve channel performance and drive growth of qualified leads, opportunities, and revenue
  • You will have full ownership of marketing budget and activities
  • Represent the company in interviews, investor meetings, and own the board-level reporting for marketing


What You’ll Need

  • 5-7+ years of experience leading a high-performing marketing organization in a fast-growth, venture-backed B2B SaaS organization
  • Technical aptitude to understand data integrations, customer data platforms, and analytics
  • You are a performance marketer through and through. Numbers are your specialty and you have a track record for overperforming on quarterly marketing targets and revenue goals
  • You are customer-centric and customer-obsessed. As a marketing leader, you provide yourself in knowing the customer and product better than anyone
  • Experience in brand-building and creating a unique, highly-differentiated brand in a competitive market
  • Experience in leading or working closely with product marketing and content teams with a background with extensive messaging & positioning skills
  • Detail and results-oriented approach; skilled at both strategy and hands-on execution; data-driven and intuitive and empathetic to the needs of our customers
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to managing projects
  • Strong people management, mentoring, coaching, and development experience
