The VP of Marketing role at Amper is an opportunity to build a demand generation machine that operates with your strategy and perspective on marketing and orchestrating the customer lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have an innate desire - and proven ability - to improve marketing’s performance month over month as well as strong abilities to analyze, understand, strategize and manage a team. Our VP of Marketing will report into the CEO and work closely with the VP of Sales, product and customer success teams to enable our aggressive revenue goals. The right person will have demonstrated experience in designing account-based experiences for target enterprises and building a successful demand generation engine for SMBs and mid-market manufacturers.

Define the Strategy

Strategically plan programs across the entire customer lifecycle, from generating leads to unsticking opportunities. Allocate, invest and optimize marketing budget across all channels to drive pipeline and build a world-class performance marketing engine.

Build the Marketing Team

Lead and hire a group of marketers and agency partners spanning all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, paid search, content, product marketing and graphic design.

Continuously Iterate & Improve

Utilize data-driven methodology, analysis and measurement to improve effectiveness and efficiency across all marketing channels. Continuously test and innovate, identifying new programs to efficiently generate high quality leads.


  • 10+ years experience in B2B marketing, ideally across digital and lead gen, 3+ years hiring and scaling a marketing team
  • Excellent communications skills and executive presence. Must be comfortable presenting data to the leadership team, board members and investors
  • Strong analytical approach to acquisition funnel metrics, measurement and campaign performance.
  • Comfortable in a startup environment
  • Experience using Hubspot or other marketing automation tools
  • B2B Saas or manufacturing industry experience a plus
