Sora is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help us manage technical customer requests and inform our product roadmap to better empower customers.

That’s where Sora comes in: we’re building a product that streamlines the tedious and repetitive work People teams do every day, from sending emails to assigning onboarding tasks to a new hire’s manager to syncing data across anywhere from 3 to 20 tools in a customer’s HR stack.

Your role & impact

Sora is an incredibly powerful automation engine that can run complex logic, and yet needs to be simple enough such that anyone on a People team can make whatever changes they'd like and can own their processes. We have deep, customized integrations with the most important HR tools at a company, which can get pretty complicated.

You'll be on the front lines helping our customers get the most out of Sora and making sure that Sora truly is accessible to everyone on a customers' team, even when things get technical. You'll help customers with technical work and questions during their implementation (working with our Implementation Managers) as well as throughout the customer lifecycle, working to understand any issues and provide solutions tailored to customers' needs. You'll be the main point of contact for many of our customers, and may even find yourself considered an honorary member of their HR/People organization!

You’ll learn the ins and outs of our product and all of our integrations as you build and launch solutions and answer any questions that come up, and will eventually become a product expert on the team.

You'll be an advocate internally at Sora for your customers and provide real-time product feedback to our product, engineering, and design teams, directly impacting our product roadmap. You'll also collaborate with our marketing team to help prioritize and write helpful documentation so our customers are empowered to find answers themselves when possible. You'll be able to work with our software engineering team to debug issues, and even make changes to our code to help meet customers' needs.
