We're a small team of engineers and designers rethinking how DevOps and engineering teams work and collaborate in production. Existing tools have not evolved much since the 1980s and we believe that redesigning and reimagining these tools from the ground up is a huge opportunity.

What we're looking for

Cased is looking for an experienced sales lead to be the first hire on our go to market team. The Sales lead will influence Cased from the very beginning, being directly responsible for helping build Sales, Customer Success, and Services teams and processes.

What you'll do

You'll be one of the first 10 employees and work closely with the whole team. As our first Sales hire you'll be the lead for defining what Sales is at Cased:

  • Develop a sales pipeline and sell Cased
  • Develop and refine our sales pitch
  • Build and manage our sales pipeline
  • Work with the founders to define the Sales organization's strategy, metrics, and roles
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to bring customer learnings into our product

Skills and requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience — you have held a senior Sales role at a B2B SaaS start up
  • Experience selling to developers or technical leaders
  • Excellent written communication skills — you can convey your ideas clearly and respectfully
  • Experience implementing and refining sales processes
  • You have built or are ready to build a Sales organization from scratch
