About the job

We’re seeking multiple highly driven account executives with 'start-up energy' and a track record of successfully selling enterprise software. This position involves proactively engaging with target companies to drive new logo acquisition and the opportunity to up-sell and grow current accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to capitalize on greenfield opportunities to build and grow a customer base.

The ideal candidate is able to identify and drive qualified opportunities through to closed deals and support account expansion through additional product modules and expansion under our resellers. You have an existing network and good relationships with key decision makers of organizations of companies that you have previously worked with. Success in the role means taking ownership, a work hard /win big attitude, the openness to learning and passion for delivering results.

A collaborative professional that is able to articulate needs for the product development team and company leadership to drive customer outcomes. You are able to effectively build and and manage a robust pipeline and have a demonstrated ability to identify objections, understand competitor products and proactively remove obstacles. You are resilient in the face of challenges and seek to maintain partnership and alignment with various stakeholders. As we are currently a remote team it is important that you are a self-starter that takes initiative and communicates effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Meet (ideally exceed) assigned sales objectives and quotas.
  • Identify new deals/logos and expand your accounts to exponentially grow the business.
  • Target competitor accounts and aggressively look for opportunities to gain market share.
  • Leverage existing network and relationships within Risk Management, Insurance Agencies, Carriers, and Compliance departments of companies that you have worked with.
  • Strategically map out your account plan and successfully execute on the plan.
  • Lead business planning and quarterly review processes as well as ongoing pipeline review and forecasting activities.
  • Generate your own pipeline via call, email, Linkedin, and social media campaigns, in addition to leveraging/partnering with an SDR.
  • Partner with Marketing/ Inside Sales to set up sales campaigns, increasing product exposure and identifying key market opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding Enterprise SaaS solutions, with a track record of closing new logos.
  • History of exceeding quota with price points exceeding $60K ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue.)
  • Experience selling new, innovative products with a keen ability to articulate evangelistic solutions.
  • Strong network, with an ability to create opportunities and build your own pipeline.
  • Collaborative team player who takes the lead in driving initiatives, working across teams (Product Management, Inside Sales, Marketing), and structuring approaches to new opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic territory management, with the ability to prioritize among a high volume of opportunities to optimize quarterly targets.
  • Experience with GSuite and Salesforce.
  • Post-Secondary Education.

Bonus Experience

  • Prior commercial insurance or Insurtech experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Associations, industry thought leadership an asset.
  • Experience with Gong, Zoominfo and sales outreach technologies.
