About the Role

CaptivateIQ is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead and scale our performance marketing and digital growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has hands-on experience with multiple digital channels (e.g., ABM, SEM, Display, Programmatic, Affiliates, Content Syndication) and sets strategies to achieve growth goals. 

This person will need to think strategically and tactically and partner with various internal stakeholders to make your vision come to life. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, you will lead in analyzing the effectiveness of your campaigns and have the confidence to test and learn until you find something that works - and cut things that don’t.

  • Develop CaptivateIQ’s paid digital marketing strategy, allowing us to scale through both core and experimental channels in a sustainable way to support expansion into new markets, locations, and customer segments.
  • Manage our marketing mix for digital marketing channels to optimize performance, determining budget allocation, load forecasting, and owning performance.
  • Be our go-to expert and executor on all things performance marketing, including but not limited to paid social (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), paid search (Google Ads, Bing ads, etc.), display (programmatic), and online chat/video.
  • Collaborate with content, creative and GTM teams to ensure compelling content that delights and engages audiences, provides a positive brand experience, and achieves key acquisition goals.
  • Work collaboratively across marketing teams to ensure that digital media efforts support all marketing programs, CRM efforts, and content.
  • Establish KPIs, and develop consistent reporting using internal programs (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce) with a view towards CPL, CAC & CLV at the campaign level to optimize accordingly to maximize ROI.
  • Leverage current tools (G2, Hotjar, Salesloft, ZoomInfo) and future ABM or intent tools to improve targeting techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and identify issues to help ensure we effectively operate performance marketing, technical background, and understanding of marketing platforms, pixels, etc.


  • 3+ years of experience as a Digital Marketer, or similar, building & executing the data-driven growth strategy for performance marketing channels (e.g., search, display, paid social, etc.).
  • Proven track record of scaling businesses while maintaining efficiency; expertise in SEM, FB/IG, LinkedIn Ads, and testing methodologies to uncover new channels for performance.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven mindset; comfortable with developing KPIs, optimizing for them, and reporting against them to leadership.
  • Hands-on experience building AdWords campaigns and paid Facebook/IG and Linkedin.
  • Experience building channels from scratch. There are typically 1-3 channels that really work for a company. We need someone who built that channel and scaled it to its limit.
  • Growth mindset: Revenue is your north star metric; you're focusing on driving new experiments and optimizing current ones to maintain fast growth.
  • Data-driven: You're able to build growth projects and analyze results by leveraging analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.) or writing SQL queries.
  • Deep understanding of key technologies and solutions, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Highly analytical mindset and attention to key metrics (CAC, pipeline conversions)
  • Some may call you a “growth-hacker” at heart. However, you find yourself identifying problems through data and solving them in innovative ways.
